What we collect
When you buy FlowNotch, our payment processor Lemon Squeezy collects your email, billing name, and country to process the payment and issue a tax invoice. Lemon Squeezy is the merchant of record. We receive the same information from them to manage your license.
License activation
When you activate FlowNotch on a Mac, the app sends your license key and an anonymous device hash (a SHA-256 of an internal hardware identifier) to our backend. We never see your serial number, MAC address, or any identifying device information.
Downloads
We log anonymous download events (date, version, country) so we know how many people downloaded each release. Your IP address is hashed with a daily salt and never stored in plain text.
No telemetry
The Mac app contains no analytics, no crash reporting, and no third-party SDKs. It contacts our backend only to validate your license.
